Default Retro game gab with Kiblitzing

http://kiblitzing.blogspot.com/

For those who don't know, this is the video game blog I currently maintain. It's nothing fancy; just observations about random games and commentary on the industry and gaming culture.

I get more hits when I promote Kiblitzing here, so I think I'm gonna make it a regular thing, because I'm shameless like that. Today's entry is about Phantasy Star Portable, a handheld extension of the Phantasy Star Online/Universe series. The critics didn't seem to enjoy this one much, but I've been having a lot of fun with it. Click the link to find out why!

Oops, been neglecting this! Let me remedy that:

http://kiblitzing.blogspot.com/2015/...ming-cube.html

Here's some information about Nintendont, the software that lets you run GameCube games on a Wii U, provided you hack the Wii side first. It's a pretty convenient way to play all the titles in your library.

Ruff 'n Tumble, an Amiga game that looks terrific but doesn't quite reach the standards of run 'n gun classics like Metal Slug and Gunstar Heroes. Come for the color-soaked graphics, stay because you can't really fire and move at the same time with a one button joystick.

Some thoughts on the recently uncovered Super NES CD-ROM, plus grousing about the upcoming changes to Miiverse. If it ain't broke...

http://kiblitzing.blogspot.com/2015/...y-smashed.html

I recently found a copy of Smash Bros. Melee for the tidy sum of $10. Counting the copy of the N64 cartridge I've got at home, I guess that completes my collection! (Until the NX comes out, at least.)

Hm, it's been a while (again). Here, have a review of the Playstation TV. It's good, really, but only under very, very specific conditions.
