Default The Fallen.

Here let us commemorate memorable foodstuffs taken off the market too soon. They were too delicious to live.

My candidates

Emerald Nuts Party Mix.

Peanuts, purple potato chips, and pretzels balls all soaked in Worcestershire sauce. Such savory goodness...

Royal Crown Premium Draft Cola
Made with cane sugar long before Pepsi even thought about throwing anything back. Bliss in a 12 oz bottle. I understand though, you can still find it in Australia, New Zealand and France.

Anyone else lamenting a lost foodstuff?

Crystal Pepsi. The gold standard of lost-forever nostalgic soft drinks.

I think I only had it once and don't remember what it tasted like or even liking it all that much. I'm just a 90's Kid™ and have to yearn for it. I think I signed a contract.

Generally the five-second rule holds firm. Depends on the surface, distance of the drop, number of full rolls.

Black Pepper Jack Doritos and the old S'mores Crunch cereal are the two I'd like to see the most. Preferably not mixed together, but I'll takes what I can get.

I don't know if I heard about the latter, but considering my love of disgustingly sugary cereals, I think I would love it.

This feels a slight tone change away from being one of the Twin Peaks' deleted scenes.

It was essentially Golden Grahams with marshmallow and chocolate. A SLAM DUNK.

Yup. I also don't think it got super soggy like golden grahams do, but it is very possible I just immediately inhaled every bowl set in front of me far too quickly for the milk to do any damage.

They did bring back the Octo Cooler for a second or two.

It probably tasted like refried ass but I love for some Nintendo Cereal System.

And Fruity Yummy Mummy.

And Kaboom.

And Pop-Tarts Crunch.

Why are all of these cereals? Oh, here's a non-cereal they should bring back (to the U.S.) with all quickness.

That Viennetta is still a thing in a few countries! You can get it in Australia and Japan. New Zealand too, if you have an urge to eat decadent ice cream treats while admiring picturesque landscapes.

There's a shop in my town that has a lot of the retro candy, but so far I haven't seen any Bonkers. This shop seems to be the only place that I can get LifeSavers now, which is weird. At some point they disappeared from the grocery store checkout lanes.

I haven't seen a box of Rice Krispies Treats cereal in over a decade but apparently it still exists?

I am a slut for marshmallow.

Yeah, I see that one all the time. Seems like I see more shelf space for old-school Frosted Krispies, though.

I figured Falselogic (or maybe Octo) would have been more disappointed about that.

Have we never had a thread like this before? I could swear that I had already talked about how much I pine for the return of Ben and Jerry's Oatmeal Cookie Chunk ice cream. I miss it so much. And apparently I'm not the only one who does! They claim that it's a supply issue that caused the flavor's demise, but it can't be that hard to find a decent oatmeal cookie, right?

Re: Smarties vs M&Ms, they absolutely do not taste the same. I like them both, although peanut M&Ms are better than any kind of Smartie I've ever eaten. As for American Smarties, those are called Rockets in Canada.

The thing I remember most vividly about that cereal is how all my dad's coworkers started using 'crispy critters' to refer to what was left of people after being hit with napalm/white phosphorus.
