Hope you enjoy it, muteKi!

Ample, the only thing I found with that name is a Steven Seagal(?!) song? Is there a music video too?

Yes, from Seagal's little-known reggae/dancehall LP "Songs from the Crystal Cave." Irony twitter recently gave it a second life. Or, like, first and a half or so. Sadly there is no official video that I know of.

Like Randy Savage's "Be a Man" it is too powerful for added video. People would die.

it is telling that the Macho Man did not live long beyond his final great achievement.

We've done music videos before and they can be devastating. Perhaps a "fan" has made one?

Once you have reached the peak, where else can you go?

Now I am imagining Macho Man doing a dramatic reading of "Ozymandias".

...

OzyMachoMandias.

I am no longer at a point in my life where I'd cringe and protest at the idea of watching an NSYNC music video, but watching one on repeat isn't really something I would ever choose to do. (Apart from starting a podcast where we do that exact thing, but never you mind that.)

It's Bye Bye Bye this week.

I think it is somewhat telling about my life that when I went to download the OS/2 Warp logo for this episode's news post, I realized that I already had it on my computer. It's a warped world.

Oops, late on posting this here! Anyway, here's S2E10, where we watch the original Chuck Wagon dog food commercial and are wrong about video games but somehow right about Renaissance-era Medici equestrian statues.

As we are once again (and ever shall be) on the cusp of new Star Wars, we take a look at particular marketing eddy of the first new Star Wars for the millennial generation: The Phantom Menace.

Hey guys remember when the Taco Bell dog, Colonel Sanders and a Pizza Hut delivery girl in a belly shirt took on the Battle Droid army on Naboo? You don't? Well I didn't either until I saw this commercial. And I still kind of wish I didn't.

Listen, OK, there's more of this. More Video Death Loop. Remember that Final Fantasy III commercial produced for the US with a sassy claymation stop-motion Mog as a New York casting agent who murders his clients? No? Good. That's for the best. We watched it a LOT
