I'm really into Taco Bell breakfast these days. I'm not saying any of the breakfast items are any good and worth going out to grab right now, but I've been enjoying the Grande Scrambler in particular.

Here's everything they're trying to stuff into one tortilla: Sausage patty, shredded cheese, nacho cheese sauce, potato bites, pico de gallo and sour cream.

Just make sure you don't have any important meetings planned throughout your morning, because this one is going to have some serious consequences on your bowels!

Anyone know if there are any good, reliable recipes around for Taco Bell's sauces? Asking for a ton of packets kinda sucks, and Nadia wants to try making her own.

My greatest wish is for Taco Bell to start offering some vegan "meat" sludge like they do at Chipotle. Ordering shit with beans instead of meat just doesn't have the texture or flavor and confuses the employees.

That seasoned tofu stuff at Chipotle is the best meat on the menu. I really don't know why people get anything else-the real meats suck, and I would never go there except for the tofu.

Any day containing the letter "t" means it's time to eat Taco Bell.

Also I don't know if it helps LBD_Nytetrayn, but at Trader Joe's they have this double roasted tomato salsa that strongly reminded me of Taco Bell hot sauce. So you can try it or look at the ingredients give you a clue as to what recipes to look for.

Taco Bell recently changed their chicken manufacturer, and the new stuff is absolutely rancid.

Daikaiju: Thanks! We'll give it a shot -- we like using it for all kinds of things. =)

Unless things have changed, no Trader Joe's in Canada. =(

Might look up the recipe, though, if the other doesn't work. I'm usually torn between the mild and medium; mild has the flavor I like, but not quite enough heat, and vice-versa, so I tend to mix the two.

Apparently they stopped making Crunchwrap Supremes and now I have no idea what the hell I'm going to eat when we're on a road trip and get a craving for cheap and easy-to-find texmex food?? ?
