Default You tube for Youtube!

I demand a thread for randomly linking things on Youtube we find interesting, fascinating, entertaining, et cetera. Ready, steady, go!

First up, probably the strangest-but-neatest thing you'll see today.

Ok I only watched 2 minutes before I had to stop it so I wouldn't stab myself in the eye, but what the hell was that?

I don't even know. There's a part where she dances with glow sticks which was cool, but I didn't get past that part myself because, well... I was afraid she would sing again.

Also: http://youtube.com/watch?v=5KCy1q7MW...elated&search= Yes, I only just discovered this anime.

Impossible Is the Opposite of Possible

This is a parody of a motivational video.

It stars Michael Cera, who played George Michael on Arrested Development.

Odd coincidence, there was a thread like this just started 2 days ago on another forum I visit. This is quite possibly my favorite entry in said thread. Best I could come up with was a link to that dramatic prairie dog thing, but there were a thousand gifs of that in PoF so that seems redundant. But hey, those curious enough can see where it was taken from!

Argh! Why must everything gravitate towards Japan so quickly? I should make a drinking game. Every time somebody brings up an anime, manga, J-Pop singer/band or some other pop culture thing from Japan, do a shot...

(On a more thread-related note, that accordian bit was awesome.)

Does the prairie dog thing count? It didn't seem Japanese at first, but then you see it's actually from some japanese kids show or something.

Ultimate Utopia XXIII - A performance that perfectly captures the essence and absurdities of 32-bit rpgs (and might leave you wondering 'why?').

As far as 32-bit RPG parodies go, I prefer College Saga.

It's sort of long, so you might want to watch the individual episodes. That link goes to the whole thing, but the links to the episodes come up on the same page in case you don't have 40 minutes to get through the whole thing.

This makes me happy as a New Yorker: http://youtube.com/watch?v=WkPh8As-y6E

And those Ventrillo harassment vids once lead me to a really funny soundboard prank call of Mister Rogers calling a strip club...

This deal ends the minute you write us a cheque--and it better not bounce, or you're a dead motherfucker!

You know what's awesome? I scored a freelance job where I get to watch Youtube and write captions for a website. It goes live in August.

A Night at Silent Hill 2

I'm sure this won't command the same weight if you haven't played the game, but I'm perpetually amused by the idea that James is so at ease with all the hellish things occurring around him that he goes through the entire ordeal ecstatically voguing to the music in his head.

"Hey, yeah. Yeah. What's up? So you're a malformed demon nurse wielding a steel pipe? Hey, I can dig it. Right on."

I would kill for that job. And if it's anything like the Highlander... well, we're gonna have to battle.

Oh, also, um... Yeah, it's Japanese, I'm sorry!

I hate this thread. You guys have succeeded in crafting something I can't enjoy at work: a thread about YouTube.

Suddenly I feel terribly alone.

Oh man, you missed all the fun. Unfortunately it became unfun at precisely 17:00 CalorieMate time, whereby the standards body that has oversight over this sort of thing issued a decree proclaiming Calorie Mate as being "terminally unhip".

Sorry dude.
