I see you have a far worse opinion of BK fries than I do. (Which sort of makes me want to share some of my musings about french fries and other sides. But that might be something for it's own thread.)

So this is a thing I'd like to try, but probably won't get to because Burger King hates their adopted homeland.

Burger King did a neat thing about Net Neutrality.

I'm not going to eat a whopper or anything but it was neat.

I went to Burger King today for the first time in like five years, just so I could try this sandwich. It was pretty good. Also, it seemed like BK changed up their fry recipe? They were better than I remembered. Maybe it was because the lady who made them appeared to have forgotten the salt.

For some reason the idea of "yellow" cheeses with chicken just seems wrong to me and I prefer "white" cheese instead.

Ha, the Ajit Pai dig at the end.

Anyway, I've been convinced: where do I sign for free and fair access to Whoppers?

I don't think they repealed Whopper neutraility in Canada.

Went to Burger King for non-milkshake reasons for the first time in seven months. This time I thought I was prepared for the Bacon King but it is now an hour later and I still don't feel like moving too much. (Because I am so full of delicious fast food, I mean.)

The pretzel Chicken Fries are vaguely pretzel-y. Also saltier than regular.

I fell off the wagon...

The burger is no great shakes, but I wouldn't kick the fries out of bed for eating crackers.

Guess who went to Burger King? :-D

They have a chicken fries combo meal for $3.69 and it was pretty good. I might stop by again.

You heard the man: Halifax Regional Municipality.

Was looking for the right Herbie Popnecker or even Rorschach panel but I couldn't find it.

Do they have Rodeo Cheeseburgers in Canada? Because those are the best thing at the King.

At least I haven’t heard about them doing more weird novelty menu items lately. (Cereal in the ice cream shakes, deep frying Cheeto crusted macaroni, etc)

So my local BK is undergoing renovation, and while we were out and about yesterday had stopped at a new-looking BK and was curious what the renovations were about.

Guys, what if Burger king... but Starbucks???

We sat near the fire, because I'm a romantic at heart.

That's even more confusing than the similar renovations Wendy's went though within the last few years

That looks almost identical to the interior of my local Arby's.

I guess everything has to be a "third space" destination now.

I look forward to two years from now, when all that decor is abused and dirty and worn down. Some of the renovated McDonalds near me somehow look worse than old McDonalds used to because their nice faux leather is all frayed ripping apart in ways their sturdy plastic/metal seats never did.

And yet a lot of Starbucks are moving away from that.

Gotta compete with those pesky “fast casual” places somehow.
