Default White Castle/Krystal

Who else loves the little soggy burgers? I think it's a class thing. Maybe not.

Is Krystal similar to WC's sliders?

I’m pretty sure he meant Cristal the $150 champagne. Pairs magnificently with a slider.

I've never even heard of Krystal. I also have never been to a White Castle, though I'm sure I would for the novelty, just as I would a Jack-in-the-Box.

Jack-in-the-Box is way, way better than White Castle.

Always loved them but to be honest the whole arrangement is kind of pricey compared to other fast food now? Getting 6 cheese sliders and a soda ran me like 9 bucks? Wendys and other places have five dollar meals that are more substantial.

Until I saw which forum this was in, I legit thought this thread was about the Star Fox character in a Harold & Kumar situation.

My heart is broken now.

Same, actually. What a weird name for a fast food franchise. Anything, neither of those businesses are within a day's drive of me, but I'd try them if they were!

White Castle is trash. Like I wouldn't let my dog eat it bad. Just the absolute worst.

To each their own. I've had little to no experience with either. I know the Kuberts of Marvel fame love them.

Hey, where I live I've never even seen a White Castle. Or a Jack in the Box.

Basically, it's a regional thing. Krystal is like White Castle, but with more of a southern flair to it. Like, you can get chili cheese fries and li'l hot dogs and breakfast bowls and stuff.

But hey, it's the age of the Internet, you can directly compare and contrast the White Castle menu and the Krystal menu via their own websites.

If I'm ever in White Castle town I am so trying that breakfast waffle slider.

I promise you that this is true of Johnny as well. We only know it because Harold and Kumar wanted to go there. None of these chains are in Canada, or at least not in our part of it.

According to the Ancient Tomes, White Castle is one of the Legendary Seven Flavours of Ass.

I'm trying to remember the last time I even had White Castle. The ones I went to disappeared years and years ago.

Also, never heard of Krystal. Looking at the pic above, they look like a Not White Castle though.

No White Castle in my neck of the woods, so my experience is limited to the microwaveable frozen variety from the grocery store.

It was.....okay? Not my top choice.

I lament the fact that these aren't available anywhere in town ~weekly:

God, I can taste one just looking at it. That they managed to make a microwavable hamburger taste as good as this one does is witchcraft. They had them here for a couple of months like a year ago, and then never again. I've not seen another microwaveable frozen hamburger of any brand before or since, and not for lack of looking.
