That one sounds almost racist.

I don't know if it is racist, but I feel like I would be aghast to hear someone say it.

"Fucking chizzas, ruining everything."

Yeah, sorta sounds like it could be a slur. I'm not sure who it would apply to though. And I don't care to know.

I don't know, I think pizza + fried chicken is worse than a taco + fried chicken. Both are bad, but one feels even more devious in nature.

It's technically not even a taco + fried chicken. It's like getting a chicken fillet sandwich without the bun, folded to hold the toppings.

Incidentally, I reviewed it a while back. Not only the way it normally comes, but with added beef and chicken as well, per a colleague's recommendation.

Anyway, for my contribution: I was reading Not Always Right the other day, and one story involves a guy at a sub shop asking for a roast beef sub with tuna.

Most recoiled, but I was intrigued, and so got one at Subway the other day (or rather, as they made it, tuna with roast beef). It was surprisingly not bad, perhaps even pretty good!

The H-E-B grocery chain is named after its founder, Howard E. Butt. Kind of a no-win scenario all around for them, really.

I laughed as if Parish was telling a joke... and then my face fell, as I realized only in Texas could this be true. Upon a quick Google search, I was not disappointed.

So it's low-carb which means it's better for you!

...

Right?

Couldn't they have just called it Howard's or just picked anything else as a name?

It's chicken + salad + unhealthy doses of cream. That's still edible! The other stuff, tho'....

I'm sure my 7 year old nephew would like all of these, though.

Right?
I think in a mathematical sense, it kind of has to be, versus the same thing with a bun or shell. Unless the aforementioned missing ingredients are just really rich in vitamins or nutrients, I guess.

Probably not. Unless maybe the bun was (actually) whole wheat.

I doubt that wrapping something in fried chicken is 'better' for you than using a tortilla.

there's something to be said about eating fried chicken the same way you always have, frankly

Dipping it in nacho cheese sauce does seem very wrong to me.

right, the nacho cheese sauce is for the potato skins you have with the chicken

Honestly? I can kinda see chocolate hummus working, presuming you go easy on the garlic. Tabbouleh's (sure, Google, we'll spell it like that...) basically peanut butter, after all.

It's no weirder than the sriracha hummus my wife likes.

Yeah my wife was fairly obsessed with a "Thai Curry"-flavored hummus a while back. If that's not proof of concept for wild hummus flavors, I don't know what is.

My only complaint about hummus is when my roommate decides to make a big batch and the entire apartment reeks of mint for a few days.

Meet the Sushi Burrito, or, how we learned to not slice a sushi roll and rebrand it.

Good idea, bad idea, lazy, or brilliant?

Chocolate hummus still weirds me out. Chocolate Halva is fine, because that's a dessert anyway. Curry hummus sounds pretty good, though.

Sushi "burrito" - I'd rather just call it an uncut sushi roll, but whatever?
