From the placement of the trigger, I can only conclude that this entire amalgamation of feline and firearm is meant to be worn on the wrist. A steampunk self-aiming pistol, perhaps?

I have a floppy Renaissance hat (though not as bulky as that one) that I wear at every good opportunity. It has a feather.
