Greta Van Fleet are not winning any points for originality but they rock hard as balls and they are an enjoyable second coming of Zep.

Really enjoying the new Leverage Models album. Glitchy doom-heavy stream-of-conciousness synthpop.

So The Good, The Bad, & The Queen put out a 2nd album after 10 years. They also put the whole thing up on Youtube, assuming you can tolerate Damon Albarn dressed up like a creepy puppet man enough to listen to it.

The new Failure is good Failure.

No one does space rock as well except for Hum but I've long given up on a new album from Hum.

I'm listening to the newest Metric album and I love it but it's increasingly hard to say that I appreciate the poetic nature of their music when their new lyrics are like this.

Tired: playing Toto's song from the 80s, Africa
Wired: Playing an African song from the 80s about the nature of apartheid

Fun fact: the little melody on the choir pad after the chorus is quoted from the ANC anthem, which was actually illegal to perform in South Africa at the time

Jessica Pratt's dreamscape songs have been a pleasure to listen to; her third album just came out and it's a beaut.

I adore the new Panda Bear album.

Havenít felt this strongly about something of his since Person Pitch, which Iím pretty sure is still a masterpiece

It just feels more focused and, I dunno, comfortable? than his last couple albums and Iím definitely into those vibes rn
