I'm glad to see things are still really, really bad for Fotheringay.

That's what I get for thinking myself clever, I guess.

Might want to spoiler that until folks have had a chance to read today's comic, my man.

Edit: Fixed. The forum has been saved from spoilers again, and my endless mission continues...

Time-traveling Riley doing literally every bad thing ever is the twist we needed, but never knew we could get.

"I framed my dad for blowing up my childhood home because my mom definitely would not hate him forever for it and super positively definitely wouldn't kick him out of the house whereupon he could shack up with That Woman" doesn't really parse well

It's the perfect reveal for what was supposed to be the story that closed the lid on Tackleford, too.

It's incredibly stupid, but I think it works because this is Tim's kid we're talking about.

I think we have to assume that Tim's marriage was destined to disintegrate no matter what, because Tim is inherently unstable.

Some of this seems more like Riley's kid than Tim's.

Absolutely. Tim’s idiotic optimism paired with Riley’s venomous gives us the time skipping murder fairy.

As far as Scout's plan for keeping her parents together by blowing up the house, if I recall, at the time, Tim thought young!Scout had been the cause of the accident and took the fall for it to keep Scout out of trouble. Future!Scout presumably assumed her past self would take the blame, not Tim. Tim's protection of his daughter derailed that plan. I could see a tragedy like that ended with a couple being closer. She'd already tried the simple stuff like killing Shelly so she's getting desperate.

Also there's no way this doesn't end with a trio of future!Winters siblings travelling back to stop Scout. If John Allison can cram more sexy redheads into his strip he's going to.
