Yes, wensday.

I was thinking skype, but IRC works just as well. Up to you guys.

As for a time how's 6 PM MST (GMT-7) sound?

You're on PDT right now, unless there's some strange corner of California that doesn't observe daylight savings. PDT is also GMT-7.

I think the confusion is that Arizona doesn't follow daily savings time, while the rest of the MST states do, so we're currently aligned with PST times. But only for half the year!

There's a reason I always list the GMT offset when I talk about timezones.

And that reason is I spend far too much time thinking about these sort of things. Don't get me started on the unspeakable things Egypt does with daylight savings every year.

Quite a lot, but I admire their stubborn commitment to not calling 8 o'clock 7 o'clock for most of the year.

But anyway yeah, sounds good to me. Someone smack me via IM or something if I space out.

They're not MST or PST during daylight savings. Both of those codes indicate a specific GMT offset (GMT-7 and GMT-8, respectively). The S is for 'standard' as in 'not daylight'. Right now most states are in MDT and PDT (GMT-6 and GMT-7).

The timezone codes you're looking for that indicate both daylight and non-daylight time are US3 (MST/MDT) and US4 (PST/PDT). AZ's non-daylight code is US3A. But good luck finding anyone who uses those even in the industries they're a standard for.

6 PM GMT-7 works fine for me, at worst I might be 10ish minutes late, but I don't think that's likely.

I'd prefer straight IRC, for the most part, but using Skype is perfectly acceptable for me.

CST is -5, right? So 8'clock...which should be fine, and I should be ensconced in my big comfy chair by then.

I'm in channel CavesofChaos in IRC right now.

I'll likely fire up skype for tabletalk if anyone wants, but the game will be in the channel.

No caverns but lots of chaos.

I had a blast, really. Not very much "Try out 5E" going on, but plenty of "Play D&D".

I'm up for running this again in two weeks, same chaos time, same chaos channel (July 11th, 6PM GMT-7). Who's with me?

Yeah, I had a lot of fun, and would be willing to pick up where we left off in a few weeks. Sorry I had to cut out like that, but the pain pills I'm on were knocking me out pretty good.

Yeah, no problem. Family's more important than a bunch of random internet duders.
