Poirot is the one that didn't slip through, so where's our interesting factoid?

Actually, I'll fill in one: Apparently David Suchet appeared in the role of Van Helsing for a BBC adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. And now that I know this, I really, really need to watch it.

Tough Boy in the desert contest. In the space contest... I have been compelled to vote against my own nomination. Tank. Looks like I'm voting for anime this time.

The theme song for Star Trek: The Next Generation derives from the film score for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. You know, the one that was like a double-length episode stretched out even longer, and had Isaac Asimov consult on the plot.

Today's winners: Cowboy Bebop will see you next round Space Cowboy while Tough Boy narrowly survives to fight in the 80's/90's.

Oh, and some fun facts about those that did not make it this time out.

Star Trek: The Next Generation

Just watch "Chaos on the Bridge" an hour long TV documentary about the trials and tribulations of making the show.

Rawhide
Clint Eastwood was twenty-eight when the series began, although his character was supposed to be nineteen.

Next: "MacGyver" by Randy Edelman (Solitayre) against "Runaway" by Del Shannon from Crime Story (Torzelbaum).

]

"Makafushigi Adventure!" by some Spanish talkin' guy from Dragonball (WisteriaHysteria) against "Give a Reason" by Megumi Hayashibara from Slayers Next (SpoonyBardOL).

Feel free to share your feelings on your selections, people who nominated.

Voting Closes 8 AM Atlantic Daylight Time tomorrow.

Ooof, that is a tough anime matchup and I'm very nearly tempted to vote against my own nom. Nearly.
