who among us could have predicted it would briefly become a Touched by an Angel reboot?

but yeah it's nice to see a 13 episode per season show move at such a nice clip. compare and contrast with marvel's netflix offerings.

I try not to theorize either, but I do have one theory. I think that Simone is secretly a representative from The Good Place.

Still trying not to read spoilers, but we finished season one and are a few eps into season two now and this is still great. I had been slightly spoiled on the big S1-end swerve by a gif but wasn't sure when or how it was coming until just before it happened. And the writing and characters are so great. Wasn't sure how they were going to pull things off going into season two but it's still good stuff so far!

Occasionally I just turn on the "Dance Dance Resolution" episode, the one with All the failed reboots, just to watch the group hiding from a spooky clown on a hoverboard and laugh my ass off for a good 7-10 minutes.

God I love this show.

Man, this show really doesn't like staying with a premise for very long before pulling the rug out, huh?

So great.

My single favorite moment in the series is when JASON is the one who figures out that they're actually in hell and Michale's like Oh wow, Ok, this one hurts.

I'm not loving Season 3 like I loved seasons 1 and 2, but I'm really interested to see where they're going with this as of the end of the most recent episode.

Finished season two. Still loving it. Show just can't stop taking left turns huh? Gonna have to see what we need to hook up to watch some S3, since we did the first two via Netflix.

The Ballad of Donkey Doug was probably the funniest episode in a long time.

I love that his nametag says Pillboi. It is actually his name.

Now the question is, did he take that name because of his job, or did he take that job because of his name?

Jason sort of has a Dan Ryckert what-do-you-expect-with-that-upbringing vibe now.

Setting aside Elahani, the recurring bit about Eleanor's bisexuality is great (also kind of centered in this episode).

Also, in the Jasonverse, Pillboi actually being a pretty good person to his wards (in his own way), was a nice piece of character work.

That episode felt fairly unnecessary, though it had plenty of fun bits. I probably just got a little to used to the show flying by the seat of its pants. Seems like they're pivoting towards whatever's next, though, so things should get pretty interesting next week.

Husband and I were delighted to see Vicky come back.
