Default All the Days Are Nice Days: BBC2 & Amazon's Good Omens

It's Goddamn Happening, people!

Michael Sheen as Aziraphale and David Tennant as Crowley. Hype is now.

I always imagined Crowley sharper --as in, ridiculously sharply dressed, because demons have style-- but, man, Tennant can do whatever he wants so long as he pulls off Crowley's panic and snark

Yet, these two are probably the "easiest" casting choices to make, as they're the fan-friendliest characters and actors. It's Adam, Anathema, and Newton who will define the soul of the show. On the one hand, I never imagined Anathema as Hispanic, but it could work great. On the other, Newt REALLY should've been black and/or a hell of a lot nerdier-looking (Jack Whitehall is too Hollywood Handsome to be believable as a hapless dork). But if the series can pull off the Them, if they can find four kids that can mimic even just a bit of what American films have done with gangs of childhood friends, with a devilish and charismatic Adam at the lead, the show will be gold.

Tom Ellis kind of a perfect fit for Crowley, but he's also playing "basically exactly Crowley" on a different show, so I guess it's okay they went with the best second-choice

I'm just hoping they somehow can replicate Hell communicating through the voice of Freddie Mercury, somehow.

I wonder who they'll use as a Freddie Mercury soundalike.

I'd be okay with Hell just using a soundboard with actual Freddy Mercury quotes/song lines.

I saw Queen with Adam Lambert when they were here last year, and while he did a great job and was in the ballpark, I don't know if he's convincing enough for a voice double. Especially considering he's from the U.S.
