Ethiopian food is literally my favorite food and I'm glad Japan somehow found a way to deliver it to your mouth.

Japan: putting all sorts of unexpected things in Paul's mouth since 2009

Anyway, I can't say I like Ethiopian more than Indian (my favorite) or Thai or Middle Eastern, but I CAN say I like Ethiopian a lot.

these cans of butternut squash bisque were on sale, so I grabbed one and ate it for dinner tonight. Put some garlic powder and black pepper and it was so sweet and spicy

I didn't have anything to make the sheep stomach simulacrum, so I just cooked it without one. The recipe called for yuba, but I can't be arsed to search Chinatown.

You live in Japan, though. I'm sure yuba and soba and tempura maki rain from the heavens like meatballs over there.

I watched a Columbo episode that was all about gourmet restaurant dining. My takeaway: The '70s were a warped hell dimension.

Just found them. It's just a slightly syrupy Lay's chip, but it isn't bad or anything. Just more muted than I was expecting.

Very light maple syrup with a little bit of a chicken taste is how I'd describe it. Neither flavor is overpowering.

Next up is the Sriracha Lays

I seriously want some of those. I want some of those, and the other two flavors-- cheesy garlic bread and Sriracha-- to review on PMO.

I don't suppose anyone can lend me a hand with that...?

Incidentally, I'm not even sure we have Sriracha anything here in Canada.

We've got the sauce. I've seen it in groceries.
