Default Thanksgiving Terror

I did a mean thing to my mother this morning. I'm hosting Thanksgiving for 15 people this year:

The last message was sent after she called me in a panic, demanding that I change my turkey plans immediately.

(For context: I have roasted turkeys many times before, including for Thanksgiving dinners my mom has attended in the past. She has no reason to think I don't know how to do it).

Please post your great/horrible Thanksgiving decisions and pranks!

For the past several years my wife has obligated us to spend our feasting holidays with people who don't like my cooking.

This is Thanksgiving Depression rather than Terror, but that's where I'm at.

That woman pushed you out through her pelvis and you do this to her, you're a monster.

I remember my aunt and uncle had to cook full Thanksgiving dinner in the microwave once due to their oven being broken or something. The meal was fine but I definitely remember everything being checked with meat thermometers to confirm it was cooked.

Let's not jump to conclusions here - Bulgakov's mom could have had a c-section.

The Saga Continues:

(Additional context: Denis is my mom's on-again off-again beau and they have dated/broken up 4-5 times since 2003. They are currently "broken up" but apparently still thinking about maybe getting back together.)

(edit: I have no idea why the first post was huge and the second one is tiny. Sorry!)

You think this is bad, you should have seen what I did to Jbear when he stayed at my house.
