I believe it was the combination of sudden acquirement of step-sibling/love interest paired with two-way emotional abuse and blackmail that turned me off, yeah.

I'm assuming that the reason we're getting anime of citrus and netsuzuo trap is that aoi hana bombed hard and nobody wants to take a chance on traditional yuri, so now there's an emotional abuse and blackmail quota that a series has to reach before it will be considered for an anime.

EDIT: which is funny because it's not like Aoi Hana didn't have that stuff in the manga; it's just that the anime really glossed over it (I can't comment on the specifics as I haven't yet read it, but the relationship between Fumi and her cousin is...elaborated upon, as I understand it)

EDIT EDIT: since this isn't the manga thread... just to be clear Takemiya Jin is not the author of citrus

You can take the artist out of the anime but you can't etc. etc.

I had Parley figured for the one who would bawl out Annie for all of this, but Red is the member of Annie's social circle most known for her brutal honesty.

Tom tweeted the last panel of today's comic without text boxes.

It looks really cool.

I hope that this story goes nowhere and isn't an allegory for anything.

I could not possibly imagine someone who is less likely to comprehend, let alone suffer from imposter syndrome than Coyote.

While I have zero doubt that this will add another fascinating layer to Ysengrin's character I am FURIOUS that we're not learning more about the dead goose.

And Ysen is a tree-dog whose job is to punch goblins on behalf of another cartoon-dog made of outer space.

If he has any life goals that extend beyond that then, well, I'd call that being greedy.

Silly Coyote, morals are just constructs of constructs designed to suggest a meaning in a world without one.

...or was that what you were trying to prove???

I think he was trying to prove that you shouldn't be a dead goose next to a lake.
