I ripped the seats out of my camper and built one of them a shrine. Carved into the chair are the numbers: 9466 6314 590. The animals pretend it doesn't bother them.

So I'm up to 11 guests, which means some people stay at my campsite and some go back into the rotation that shows up around the other areas. I'm starting to think that if you want to level up a certain animal friend higher, though, it's counterintuitively better NOT to have them at your campsite, because you get way more requests from them - up to three at a time when they show up to a location. On the other hand, when they're at your campsite, you usually only get one request from them, but also some xp-gaining stories and they'll occasionally give you small gifts. Still figuring out what's faster or slower, but that's the hunch I've been getting.

I've been focusing on crafting a lot of stuff and doing requests to get more guests to my campsite. I've seen some people with the newer style of camper or the upper floor but I'm still paying off my loan.

Also I'm the first person I've seen who built their new tent on the second amenity space instead of replacing the first space with it, unless that's a weird display thing.

Can you remove guests and curate a collection of only the coolest of animals? Or are you just stuck being friends with everyone like a loser / good person?

I haven't quite decided if I like this or not. The fragmented world isn't as charming as walking around an entire town, and I'm not even a huge AC fan to start with. Still, gonna give it a fair shake.

My code is 52259253713

Random thought, why hasn't Nintendo done a Nintendogs mobile yet?

I've hit a point where bell income may become a choke point. I paid off my first 10k loan, and my second is 30k, which seems so big I can hardly think about starting it, especially when the furniture I'm building for my next guests (currently at 14, 15 when my current crafts finish) are costing over 1000 bells each.

It doesn't help that I saw some rainbow plaid shorts for 3600 that I just had to have (and a tool shelf and a vase).

Know that I judge you all based not on your campsites, but your camper customization.

Iím about at the same point, 14 invited friends, with about 4 maxed out on levels due to me not having the right type of tent, so they get booted from milf island. Everything takes between 3-12 hours to build now, so the grind is just to fulfill friend requests and go back to the campsite for chats every now and then. Thereís not a whole lot to the game, but I am being a slave to the friend grind. I havenít crafted anything for myself yet because it wouldnít serve a purpose to get me any new friends. I keep telling myself I should spend time for me, but it always gets directed to the feedback loop.

Maybe if you just purchase some Nook Tickets, you can get around to crafting things for you. They're on sale right now!

The f2p chokepoint is part of what sets this game apart from the regular games. When you start here, you're raking it in, and then when the hammer falls everything slows to a trickle. In New Leaf, you start off slow, but the longer you play, the more you make, and if you're patient eventually you make it big on the Stalk Market and can live off the interest. Throwing around a million bells like it's nothing.

Yeah, it's still relatively smooth sailing for me right now, but I was definitely expecting there to be a choke point eventually. Nintendo does want to make money, after all.

Still, I won't mind checking in on this game each day. I'm in no big rush to recruit more visitors or pay off my camper upgrade, rushing things is how you burn out on Animal Crossing.

One thing that is a great idea is letting you get a little bit of friend experience just from talking to an animal. Fishing and catching the same thing over and over will get tiring fast, but you can still progress without them, albeit very slowly.

Actually, I'm kinda grateful I've hit that choke point, because it means I run out of things to do and have a good reason to put the game down and ignore it for a good long time. Right off the bat, crafting turnaround and friend levels were all so fast you could basically put in a solid day of playing without ever putting it down or running out of stuff to do. Now it feels more like that Enforced Break Time in F2P games which again, is nice in a way.

When you're playing Animal Crossing, you make it creepy. Animal Crossing is a horror game, afterall.

Does it bother anyone else that Animal Crossing's idea of a camp is just a house that is outside? I mean, they clearly wanted to reuse the same assets, but why am I putting all these rugs and furniture outside?

This is the hill people have chosen...

Animal Crossing: Pocket Campís pizzas take absurdly long to make

Quote:
Everyone loves pizza. Even the animals in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp love pizza ó especially Ketchup the duck. But the kind of pizza that Ketchup asks players to order for her in order to lure her to their campsite doesnít sound like any kind of pizza I want to eat: Not only is it pricey, but it takes way, way too long to make.

My mom, being an Animal Crossing fan since the first game on back on the ĎCube, is playing this and really enjoying it. I let her use my Nintendo ID, so if you see my number, itís her, so be nice.

Personally I find it hilarious that it takes Cyrus so long to craft basic food items.

it takes 6 wood to craft a large, elaborate bench swing and 60 wood to craft a literal pile of rough-hewn logs

My theory is that Cyrus is a terrible cook but puts his all in trying to please you.

The high Bell cost? It's so he can fix up the kitchen after blowing it up

I'll do my best to see just how pink I can make my campsite.

My user ID is 3571 2059 081 if anybody wants to friend me. The character's name starts with B and she has blue hair with bangs. I'll go through the thread and add everyone else!

I've hit the most frustrating wall of all, yet. All my crafting requires like 60 of the materials, often 60 each of two different materials. This means it's nigh impossible to get three items crafting at once, or even two, and sometimes there's literally nothing I can craft from an animal's wishlist for a very long time. This is, ultimately, the pay wall, since it seems the primary use of tickets is to make up the difference in crafting materials on items you want to make and going that route (I likely will not), I would burn through a lot of tickets fast.

I get bells out the wazoo with nothing to spend them on in the meantime, so I might end up paying off that 50,000 bell loan sooner than later after all and seeing just what it is that comes next.

In the meantime I can make Jingle decorations out of candy canes though so there's that!
