Who are all these hulks:

Green Hulk
Grey Hulk
Red Hulk

Are they all banner? are some of them banner? Are there more colours of hulks than there are kryptonite? If so: is it as stupid?

i don't know how much you know about hulk (i'm an expert), but to answer your questions

in order: only when not angry, potentially, yes obviously (there are even infrared and ultraviolet hulks), depends on the comic arc

Grey Hulk was an enforcer for the Las Vegas mob who wore a suit and a fedora, which is "insanely sikk" in the parlance of online.

Red Hulk is General Thunderbolt Ross, whose burning hatred of The Hulk caused him to mutate into a Hulk who is always on fire.

So it’s stupid and beautiful, in equal measure.

yeah Grey Hulk and Green Hulk are both Bruce Banner, or aspects thereof, Red Hulk is something different.

the Green/Grey/Banner distinction has to do with old Peter David storylines exploring different aspects of Bruce's past and personality. good reading if you ever feel like taking an interest. a lot of it has sweet Dale Keown art.

So: what are the chances that Hurt will do this? Like him being in Civil War was the only ever direct reference to Incredible Hulk, which sort of seemed like kinda apocryphal.

He does own a prison fortress in the middle of the ocean where he captured like half of the Avengers. I would say that the chances of him coming back in some capacity are pretty good.

I guess it would be easy enough to turn Ross into the Red Hulk, but it still seems unlikely to me when Hulk himself has such a diminished role in the franchise.

Bruce Banner doesn't really fit within the conventions of a leading action hero. A Hulk movie has to be unconventional to work. That's something I believe Ang Lee was better able to express than the dudes what done the Norton one.

Yes! Let's bring back the Thor Corps!

I would love it if they made a Sub-Mariner film in which Hulk could guest-star, thus setting the stage for The Hulk, Namor, and Dr. Strange Team-Up That Can No Longer Be Named The Defenders.

Ang Lee Hulk is still, to this very day, my favorite Marvel movie.

There are two different Red Hulks, the one with the mustache is the one who's not Thunderbolt Ross.

There's also a Green She-Hulk who's Banner's cousin and a Red She-Hulk who's Betty Ross.

Do you think Stan Lee will put it in his will that they have to build a CG replica of him and hire a sound-alike so he can keep having a cameo in every marvel film after his death

I saw this last night and finally just caught up with this thread. I enjoyed the movie greatly, and I feel that it's the best Thor. I also agree that the Warriors 3 got screwed, they deserved more than that, at least. I'm a little surprised that no one has mentioned the best joke though: the moment that had me in hysterics to the point I was crying was during the Matt Damon theatre scene, not the cameos, but at the moment when they re-enact Loki's death, the choir starts singing the score from Frigga's funeral! Here's the Thor 2 scene if you need a reminder.

This is why I call Thor 3 the first Comedy of the MCU. Iron Mans and GotG have always been action/adventure movies with lots of humor, but Thor was the first one that went all the way to Comedy Movie with Action/Adventure elements.

Well, despite their issues and the butting-heads, the cast of 3hor is very well-adjusted. Other than Drax, who takes everything at face value, the GotGs are a lava-hot mess of issues ("Of course they have issues! That's Peter's dad!") and Tony is a bundle of neuroses encased in armor. Thor cracks wise because he legitimately feels a situation is funny; his smiles are genuine. Rocket or Tony snark because they're messed up, and they smirk when they do so.

It could also be that Thor is nigh-invulnerable and he knows it, whereas Tony and Rocket are all too aware of their fleshy limitations.

Thor often fights beings who can hurt him.

Watched Ragnarok today. Pretty damned good. Also, I love that it used "Immigrant Song" not only because it is about Norse stuff, but also because they are all immigrants now (OK, JBear pointed out at this point they are transients, but still, gonna happen).

Also, I think the most fun gig you can have acting in the Marvel Universe is to play an Elder of the Universe.

"What's my motivation?"
"See that scenery? START MASTICATING."
"What's that? While you were talking this matte painting somehow ended up in my mouth."
"Perfect!"

Seriously, Terry Crews as The Champion of the Universe, please.

SO I SAW THOR: RAGNAKROK.

It was great. I laughed my ass off, which is exactly what I want to do while watching a Marvel Movie.

My wife was extremely upset that her SUPERHERO FANTASY GUY lost both his Fabio hair and an eye, and has declared that Thor is no longer he favorite super hero. Not sure who will pick up that torch yet.
