Hexagonal Phase: The Return of the Hitchhiker's Guide to Radio

Hey, this is pretty exciting. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is making a return in its original audio play format with the original cast (plus the addition of Stephen Hawking as the book replacing the late Stephen Jones). It looks like only the first episode has aired to date but the six episodes will be available online for a month after airing.

It's a series no-one wanted to make based on an unloved book Adams had nothing to do with. I'm sure they went into it with the best of intentions, but really, this should never have happened.

They made serials based on the other three books in the series with the original radio cast(except for Peter Jones who had sadly passed on by then) around 12 years ago, I would suggest checking those out instead.

I read the book.

I had low expectations and they were met.

I'm the only one who liked "And Another Thing", aren't I? Presumably, Eoin Colfer also had some affection for it.

I remember thinking it was perfectly okay when I read it, but I couldn't tell you a single thing that actually happened in it now...

A lot of that immortal jerk that Adams created as a throwaway joke and way too many made up words.
