Some people on Twitter definitely had TMNT2, and at least one had Metal Gear, but NES Metal Gear is... not great.

And on Twitter a couple folks said Mario/Duck Hunt, one person said the PAL-exclusive SMB/Nintendo World Cup/Tetris cart.

**Why not SMB3 instead? Cause that game just reminds me of SMW, which I would much rather play. I actually don't enjoy SMB3 all that much these days.
***If I only had these games to play forever, then I'd finally have the time to get good at this game!

There are another 10 or so NES games that I like to dabble with now and again, but not many that I would actually sit down and play for any length of time. Other Mega Man games, for sure, and the Contras, maybe something like Crystalis or Willow if I wanted to make a deep dive. But I could probably live on this dozen for the rest of my life without many regrets.

I was messing around with Super Turrican recently. I was under the impression it released in the US, given the NP coverage, but nope! What is the best way to experience the first two games, anyway? My understanding is that the NES port sort of combines the two.

Cool to see a mention of Nightmare on Elm Street! That one really surprised me - I was expecting licensed trash but really enjoy it.

There's a Turrican collection coming to PS4 and Switch that includes the Amiga versions of the first two games.
 
Super Turrican (Director's Cut) is included with the Analogue Super NT but that's an expensive way to experience the game.
