Upgrading Bluesky Embeds?

So, I find myself posting and reading and sharing stuff from Bluesky a lot more these days, including here. If you've seen my posts in the "Do you ever sometimes just remember that Mega Man Volnutt is still stuck on the Moon?" thread, you know this to be true.

However, I'm finding that the embeds are... well, not as good and pronounced as Twitter's are here. And I know they can be comparable, because I'm on another XenForo that does it.

I can't be the only one here who would appreciate this, can I?
 
If you'd like me to, I can ask at the forum where I saw it about what they did, too.

If it's necessary, I mean. I don't want to get in the way or anything.
 
This sort of thing might be possible. In general, I've focused more on keeping the forum software running, whereas other admins have been the ones working on customizations.

We should upgrade the base forum software before attempting any other change, and that's something that should be done during a low-traffic time. After we're fully up to date and have confirmed nothing is broken, we can see about adding this in the admin control panel, Content > BB Code Media Sites. Alternatively, we might look into finding a plugin or something.
 
I just saw in the Trending Content and Expanded Quote threads that we recently got a forum software update, does that mean this is a good time to bring this subject back up?
 
That is not great... Is it that way because its all federated and so it can be directly imported or... ?
 
In fixing the YouTube embed problem, I might also have fixed the Bluesky embed problem. From my standpoint, it looks like Twitter embeds are still misbehaving, however.
