So welcome one and all to Torzelbaum's Utterly Self-Serving Top 50 Gimmick Crowd Sourcing Dome / TUSS T50 GCS Dome / I can't believe anyone is participating in this Dome.

We've had a productive brainstorming session but now it's (Talking) time to choose a name for the fictional restaurant that will be used as the gimmick for the Top 50 Sandwiches.

So let's get started with our first play-in matches. WildcatJF was lucky enough to get the random bye so we won't see any of his picks in these matches.

That name suggestion faces off with my somewhat more straightforward entry of Sammy's Samees. Now you might be asking "Who's Sammy?" and I would respond with - "I don't know. It just sounds like it could be a person's nickname and it also is like saying sammies as a slang abbreviation for sandwiches."

Match #3: Kirin wants the restaurant to really give it to the customers with the name Double Meat. (But we'll have to crunch the numbers on that to see if we can keep it reasonable and profitable.) RT-55J goes with the simple but enigmatic choice of Joe's.

Match #4:
Johnny thinks that sandwich spreads have gone awry but that can be fixed with some Bread Spread Redemption. Daikaiju has something else for our customers' tongues - a twister (with some added alliteration and some assonance) with his suggestion of Levi Levin's Leavened. But I think that means that quick breads and flat bread would not be on the menu.
