Okay, I need some recommendations/brainstorming. I had an idea for a game to run for my son and his friends, where they take a set of under-prepared characters into an old-school dungeon crawl and get totally murdered...and then Groundhog Day the dungeon. So they get to learn all of the ridiculous traps and unfair deaths and conquer the dungeon through trial and error. This ideally would be one of those stupidly cruel "How would anyone ever see that coming?" meatgrinders, preferably with as many ridiculous instant deaths as possible. It does, however, have to be appropriate for 13-year-olds, so maybe nothing with succubi.
1. Any thoughts on a good pre-published module? I'll probably have them play D&D 5E characters because that's what they're used to, but adjusting an OSR module on the fly is old hat for me. (Ideally not Tomb of Horrors; but in that vein.)
2. If I have to piece it together myself, any recs for lists of appropriate traps and hazards?
