Trivia Time: November Edition

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Hey, November edition of Trivia Time starts this Sunday. For understandable reasons, we will now be moving to a weekly schedule. This was always my plan but I did want to do something special for both the first one of these and for Halloween. For the next five Sundays, we'll get 10 questions and you'll have all week to answer. Does anyone want to join in?

A much easier schedule to keep up with for sure, though I've been enjoying the October barrage as well. I'm in!

I will follow this thread more closely than I managed to in October.

Not having managed to follow any of the previous, what times are we looking at on Sunday(s)?

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Don't worry. Sadly, the actual Discord game is all but dead (for now) but once I post the questions you'll have all week to send me a list of answers. That said, you are on your honor, sir, not to look up the answers... at least until you send me your PM. Also, now people might want to improve their chances by forming a team.

I'm willing to be on someone's team with the caveat that Team Rocket's score is 90% Daikaiju. That's probably not an exaggeration.

Remind us when exactly is the deadline for getting in the week's set of answers? Thanks!

Thanks. Actually a have another, a bit rules-lawyer-y question, while I'm here. Often *after* I submit my answers I'll goo looks them up online to see if I was right. However, in this format, we've got some pretty narrow categories spanning the month, so looking up one answer might inadvertently be educational about future, as yet unseen, questions. Should we, like, avoid this, or is researching the general topics when we don't have any unanswered questions up actually kosher?

Oh, I forgot to answer this. Probably better to keep away from more obscure categories for the month. You can correct me after its all over.

Also, the week is half done. Don't forget to get your guesses by Saturday!

BTW, I messed up on question 10. I used the descriptor "large" lizard in my head because my brain conflated Gila Monster and Komodo Dragon. I'll give everyone a point for 10 and an extra point for the actual answer I intended. Sorry for the brain fart.

5. Clybourne Park, in which we focus on a white family that sold their house to a black family, is a “spin-off” of which iconic play written by a black woman? A Raisin in the Sun Despite the weirdness of spinning it off into a "what about the white people" narrative, it apparently was fairly well regarded.

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
I mean, the Wrecking Crew is a loose collective of session musician who worked with some of the biggest names in music and also some of them became pretty big names themselves, if that helps.
