Moving up the ranks - I had Ayla at #20. She's a fun character and fits in nicely with the idea of a character far remove from their home time. And her "primitive" strength comes in handy when the party is captured by Dalton and all of their "modern/futuristic" weapons are taken away.
Yeah, if I had added more Chrono characters, Robo would’ve been a strong contender for exactly these reasons. Traveling through time the *normal* way when you’re in a story full of shortcut-takers is a real power move. That's my boy. This was my CT pick. I made a typo in my submission quote; I should have said that this doesn't come up often in fiction. Kirin mentioned the ur-example earlier in the thread of Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide. It just makes me misty-eyed when I think of Robo tirelessly and thanklessly toiling away through the centuries to bring life back to the land, and I love how you can swing by in your time ship and see him doing cute little animations as he goes about his work.
Turns out Robo best there isAyla best there is
He go to town
the only problem with that is that the way it's framed in the game is link traveling to his futureI was just thinking yesterday about how ALTTP doesn't involve time travel. They should've saved that banger of a title for OOT.
I thought you were talking about ALTTP at first and I thought, "Well, aren't we all?"the only problem with that is that the way it's framed in the game is link traveling to his future
