Top 50 Time Travelers - Hour Gang

I had the 1st movie on my list. Though I believe the 3rd in the original movies series some of the apes go back in time to the 1970s...

Moving up the ranks - I had Ayla at #20. She's a fun character and fits in nicely with the idea of a character far remove from their home time. And her "primitive" strength comes in handy when the party is captured by Dalton and all of their "modern/futuristic" weapons are taken away.

Robo's never gonna give you up
He's never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and
Desert you

That's my boy. This was my CT pick. I made a typo in my submission quote; I should have said that this doesn't come up often in fiction. Kirin mentioned the ur-example earlier in the thread of Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide. It just makes me misty-eyed when I think of Robo tirelessly and thanklessly toiling away through the centuries to bring life back to the land, and I love how you can swing by in your time ship and see him doing cute little animations as he goes about his work.

Yeah, if I had added more Chrono characters, Robo would’ve been a strong contender for exactly these reasons. Traveling through time the *normal* way when you’re in a story full of shortcut-takers is a real power move.

We dig *checks notes* human-sized robots who travel through time to save the world.

(Robo was #15 on my list.)

if nothing else, it's funny to have one of those popularity contests where chrono trigger is firmly in the middle instead of at the top

I was just thinking yesterday about how ALTTP doesn't involve time travel. They should've saved that banger of a title for OOT.

I had Lonk at #19. Yeah, time travel is not usually his thing, but Ocarina being one of the most important games ever made and also one of my fave Zeldas, it was imperative to have him on my list. Then there's also the aforementioned Majora's Mask, as well as Oracle of Ages.

Is that all of them?

the only problem with that is that the way it's framed in the game is link traveling to his future

Fun fact: Wind Waker was the first 3D Zelda. The N64 games are actually 4D if u think about it.

I thought you were talking about ALTTP at first and I thought, "Well, aren't we all?"

But yeah, you're right

I had the entire crew of the Enterprise (the first one) and had Star Trek IV specifically in mind. I can't recall if they time travelled in the original TV series run, but Lady know at this point most members of Star Fleet have travelled through time. Kirk is a serial offender.
