3. Intercalaris - the way the Romans handled leap years. Looks like this is also known as Mercedonius if you get votes for that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedonius
4. 驚蟄 /Jīngzhé/啓蟄/Keichitsu - older Chinese/Japanese calendar, basically the period of time where insects awaken in spring. I think it's very evocative.

01. September - Nice fall weather, harvest flavors, my birthday

02. Megabit - A month of the Ethiopian calendar that has a name too cool to ignore

03. Efteryule - The month after winter holidays in the Shire calendar of the Hobbits

04. October - Like September, but with Halloween making up for not having my birthday

05. Adar II - The Hebrew calendar has a leap-month! Technically when it occurs, it's "Adar I", and the regular month becomes "Adar II". That's fun.

06. April - Nice spring weather
