Well, you're pretty close to a Sinister Six movie at this point; drop the Lizard, add Kraven/Mysterio/Vulture and you're there.

What about a Doctor Strange villain for #6? Was there ever any crossover villains between him and Spidey?

Dr. Strange villains tend to be unknowable, multi-angled gods from beyond the veil of reality.

Spider-Man villains have a tendency to be Vermin, who has the "super" power of "various ratlike traits and attributes".

Honestly I'm just happy to see Doc Ock again. He was my favorite Spidey villain when I was a Lil'Spoony, I'm not even sure why. But I really liked Molina's take on him in Raimi's sequel, so I'm actually excited to see what's done with him here.

Honestly this movie could have just been Molina's Doc Ock as the main baddie and I would've been happy. Even without all the other nonsense.

Given the catalyst of the plot, that were only missing an MCU Spidey villain, and because multiverse was part of the grift in the last movie, my money's on Mysterio.

If that character remains unavailable due to a persistent case of death, there's always his lead tech guy who got away scot-free.

But yeah, there's still Vulture and we know Gargan exists, so maybe Scorpion?

Mysterio is dead, but so were the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, etc. Also, the Webb movies had Rhino, and there are two Venom's out there. There are plenty of ways to fill the last spot.

Yep, JK Simmons and Doc Molina is all I need, so everything is else is gravy. If anything the monkey paw is curling and the potential number of villains will take precious screen time away from them but hey, that's a price I'm willing to pay.

Green Goblin: "Jameson! You must know Parker's home address!"
JJ Alex Joneson: "Here! Here's where he lives and all his friends and his girlfriend and his school address!"
Goblin: "...wow. I expected you to be a far better person than this."

LOUDSKULL
(DUDE/BRO)
If they REALLY wanted to blow my mind they'd have Tom Hardy show up in the last 10 minutes all disheveled and tired and having genuinely no clue what the fuck is going on but SOMEBODY'S doing a big action set piece and his brain monster won't let him ignore it.

BEAT

Like I already expect Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

You wanna impress me? Have Brainmonster Mad Max Stroll in all unannounced like "Fuck okay I guess we're doing this now."

Tobey Maguire: Hey you look kinda like a guy I used to work with.

Tom Hardy: Okay?

Tobey Maguire: I fucking hated that guy.

Tom Hardy: ...Sorry?

This weeks What If was very true to the original comics; everyone died and everything was worse

On the other hand; Clark Gregg!!

I couldn't tell if the audience wasn't supposed to figure it out when Black Widow said "It's about Hope". Because that's a really unnatural way to deliver a final message to your boss that could have easily been "It's about Hope Van Dyne", or even better, "It's Hank Pym."

TBF a desperate phone call saying ”Hank Pym is evil” is like getting a desperate phone call saying fire is hot

I mean, I couldn't quite hear her so to me it was either Hope, home or Hulk

I will say I may have just been missing them before but I like all the background Uatus.

I watch all of Disney+ with Spanish subtitles on so they handily spoiled the entire twist before Fury (or I) had a chance to figure it out :p

I noticed the big Uatu in the horizon and the Uatu eyes in the thunderstorm, but none before. I'll go back and rewatch to see.

Now that is a What If story; absolutely everyone in the entire universe died, and Uatu showed up to call him a dink

Appreciated the detail that while Good Strange had his usual Fractyls and trippy Ditko psychedelia for magic, Bad Strange had Kirby Krackle.

AND SHUMA GORATH AGAIN!!

Funny thing is, during preview phase, I thought the Dr. Strange episode would be the first, wherein the "base" version would somehow become aware of Uatu and then would peer into all of the What Ifs together with the big bald comic Spectator.

Turns out his episode is the one where the entire reality collapses into nothingness because he was (presumably, and up until the night of the accident) a much better boyfriend to Christine than the original version ever was :p

I loved the Shin Megami Tensei demon parade!
That was very fun.

Did not like this episode. The episode was basically, What if Dr Strange was in Steins;Gate and the answer was just as miserable and stupid as that show.
