Errrrrrg, that second match. Final Fantasy has one of those "quintessential" game over themes to me. I was considering nominating it myself. But I also love Silpheed's soundtrack. I think I'm going to have to vote for it just because it's the underdog here.

Also, I totally recommend the entire SharpX1 port soundtrack to anyone who is a fan of old FM synth soundtracks. The intro theme and the asteroid stage theme in particular are real standouts.
