Seriously you all need to sit down and watch this.
It starts off with a deep dive on Kikuta's personal history (did anyone know he used to do manga under the name Yuuri 69?) and early career, then getting into the rest of the development team, their history, how they all met, interviews, looks into the various cited influences on the game, founding of Sacnoth, the specific outside studios involved in rendering the cutscenes, footage of where the devs were just living in Wales for a while doing extra research and sound sourcing. Even if you don't care in the slighest about this one weird obscure game that... actually I guess it's having kind of a renaissance now but still, this is just SO detailed and well-produced.
