Race 9 (1st round):
First up we have WildcatJF and his driver Juan Medranao who says he wants to be "Savior of Dream Land". I'm not quite sure what that means but best of luck to them. They'll be facing Kirin who has Ali Dee driving while the Deekompresors will be working the pits. They're another group who has a need for Speed Racer and want to Go Go!

Next up we have Violentvixen and her team Crystal Method who have brought their Smile funny car to compete. This is another vehicle that was featured in the video game Blur. They'll be racing against q 3 and his mysterious driver who rumors say is a young revolutionary girl. Will her Adolescence Rush produce enough Rondo-Revolutions per Minute to power their way to victory?

Race 10 FAST System status: D.E.A.D. H.E.A.T. - S.U.D.D.E.N. D.E.A.T.H. mode activated.
Oh no! The race is tied and S.U.D.D.E.N. D.E.A.T.H. mode has been activated! This means that the next racer that gets any new reading in the FAST System will win the race. But if the tie is not broken before the end of the next FAST System active period then I will have no other recourse than to resort to drastic measures in order to determine the winner. I don't think any of us want that so someone please vote on Race 10 and break the tie!
Now what do D.E.A.D. H.E.A.T. and S.U.D.D.E.N. D.E.A.T.H. mean? Currently nothing. The eggheads who developed the FAST System said they wanted to come up with cool acronyms for this situation but couldn't think of anything. But I have an idea! As Entity of this Thunderdome I am announcing a companion contest that you can all participate in!
It's the "Think of a Better Acronym for the FAST System Tied Situation contest"! All you have to do to participate is post a suggestion for what those acronyms mean or you can come up with entirely new ones instead. I will pick my favorite as the winner and it will be integrated into the FAST System and the winning contestant will be showered in virtual glory!

Race 20 (1st round): First up we have the Duel of the Diacritics! Now I have heard of a heart like a wheel but the driver from Purple's team Mötley Crüe most have a Heart like a motorcycle since he wants to Kickstart (My Heart) it! But Mightyblue and his driver MYRONE plan to use their rare (Exclusive) Coupé to continue excluding their competitors from the next round.

Race 13 (1st round): And next up we have me and my team Deep Purple who know how to be Highway Stars but we'll have to see if that can translate to the track. They are facing off against q3 and his team of Atsushi Kitajoh, Mayumi Fujita and Lotus Juice. They have a very unusual vehicle with a very unique control scheme - all the driver has to do to accelerate is Pull the Trigger! They have had a lot of experience driving it for the video game Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth but it's yet to be seen if they can also adapt to using it on a track. In this race I think it's all going to come down to who can adapt to the course conditions first.
