1. This game is full of bugs.
2. They're the smallest of your worries, though.
3. Did I say bugs? Sorry, I meant "aggressive alien species".

earth defense force 5
Yep.

1. This game is full of bugs.
The most common enemies are giant ants, spiders and bees.

2. They're the smallest of your worries, though.
Even though they're huge, the other enemies are even bigger.

3. Did I say bugs? Sorry, I meant "aggressive alien species".
The narration and NPC chatter never call them bugs or insects; they're always "aggressive alien species" or "monsters".

4. Red ones are stronger.
Many enemies have stronger variants that are distinguished by color, usually red.

5. Aliens look just like us. Frogs? What are those?
The aliens look like bipedal frogs, but NPCs insist they look just like humans.

6. Shoot the enemy's giant glowing weak point... but only when we tell you to.
The glowing portals in the alien ships that enemies come out of are obviously their weak points, but they don't actually take damage from being shot there until the EDF commander tells you to do it, around a quarter of the way into the game.

it's funny, because i think every edf does the thing where you have to wait for the commander to tell you it's a weak spot. makes replaying the level real silly

i am unprepared, anyone else can take it

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
1) You should probably just guess a television show title.
2) You get to play one of four characters, one of whom showed up for like one episode at this point.

Did you know Wikipedia has a List of Television Series based on Video Games, but not a List of Video Games based on Television Series? Such a grievous oversight. Anyway, Tiny Toon Adventures

4) In the portable versions of the game the bad guy is OK. In the regular one... I guess the main character is a killer, then.
