Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Yes! Elvira: Mistress of the Dark is a first person shooter RPG Point and Click Adventure which... is a mix, to be sure. It was actually a quite well-reviewed game.

Man, I didn't even get to my double entrendre clues. Like this gem "The title character is known for their double... entendres."

Cause boobs, get it?

Weirdly, you don't PLAY Elvira. I guess this makes sense. If you were her in an FPS, how would you ogle her?

1. A tale of souls and swords
2. Yokai watch
3. Slightly historical fiction
4. Drink to your health
5. Two playable characters. Unrelatedly: two weapon types

Muramasa?
Yes!

1. A tale of souls and swords
You collect souls from your enemies and use them to forge better swords.

2. Yokai watch
Many of the enemies you fight are yokai of various kinds.

3. Slightly historical fiction
It's set during Japan's Genroku period, and the real shogun of that time, Tsunayoshi Tokugawa, appears as one of the main villains. The events of the game are mostly fantastical, though.

4. Drink to your health
Several increasingly strong kinds of sake are among your healing items.

5. Two playable characters. Unrelatedly: two weapon types
You can play as Momohime or Kisuke, and they can both use regular swords and long swords.

6. This game received some extensive DLC years after its original release
7. That DLC wasn't available for the original release, though
The Genroku Legends DLC is exclusive to the Vita port of the game, and consists of four smaller scenarios, each with a new playable protagonist.

8. Like most of the developer's games, this one has lots of delicious-looking food
There are many restaurants and cookbooks to be found throughout the game, and quite detailed animations of food being prepared and then disappearing as you eat it.
