Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
1) Despite the lack of pluralization, there are many of the title subject.
2) Its not just a rip-off of one game, its a rip off of two (I think)
3) More of the title subject than in the first source material but far fewer than in the sequel.
4) Man, the main character could have used some of these "Pulsars" to beat the enemy.
5) At least the protagonists did have flamethrowers...
6) Ah, yes, the classic scene where the hero dodges the monsters who are just... walking in straight lines.

YES!

1) Despite the lack of pluralization, there are many of the title subject.
Three in the main game, countless in the bonus stage.
2) Its not just a rip-off of one game, its a rip off of two (I think)
Pac-Man and Frogger
3) More of the title subject than in the first source material but far fewer than in the sequel.
Alien and Aliens, respectively
4) Man, the main character could have used some of these "Pulsars" to beat the enemy.
They are the Power Pills of the game. Remember when Signorney Weaver used those?
5) At least the protagonists did have flamethrowers...
You do get flame throwers. They don't kill the enemy but they'll turn the other way.
6) Ah, yes, the classic scene where the hero dodges the monsters who are just... walking in straight lines.
Sorry, should have been more clear I'm speaking of the bonus stage.
7) You aren't collecting pellets, you're smashing eggs.
No explanation needed.
8) From the creator of M*A*S*H
The designer of the game, Dallas North (real name Doug Neubeuer) also made a M*A*S*H game around the same time
Just like the show
9) Hyper-warp passages. Just like the movie DEFINITELY DID NOT HAVE.
This is too explain why you can disappear on one side of the maze and appear on the other.

Octopus Prime

Mysterious Contraption
(He/Him)
