17) The game is inspired by one of Stanisław Lem's novels

Yeah, it's Stanisław Lem's The Invincible. Giving it to you Kirin.

1) Radio chatter Much like Firewatch, a lot of the game involves dialogue choices over the radio.

2) Slide show You collect a lot of slides from robot camera footage in this game. They're presented in the same style as the comics.

3) Reading comics The game keeps a log of your progress through the chapters and references to events from before you got there with a series of comic panels with accompanying explanatory text

4) Wire frame view Your detector is basically a lens that portrays the landscape seen through it as a green wireframe X-ray.

5) Tracking tool Your tracker is a remote with li'l dot lights on it that show the position of yourself, robots, and people.

6) Multiple endings The ending can be altered by factors like your initial choice for means of escape from Regis III and whether you choose an aggressive or non-aggressive approach to certain situations. Reading the book can help you know how to get a good ending but it's not necessary.

7) Surprise retro gaming On at least one computer you can find Ping, a single player version of Pong.

8) A prequel/adaptation The game is set before The Invincible landed on Regis III but after the Condor did. Your crew on the Dragonfly is from the Commonwealth, a rival to the Alliance from the books.

9) Vehicle skins A later patch added skins for the rovers you can drive. A Rocket Girl skin, a NASA skin, and skins inspired by Frostpunk, The Alters, and Pacific Drive.

10) Said prequel/adaptation has something the source did not Women. Your Commonwealth crew has two women: Yasna (the main protagonist) and Marit.

11) A current generation game It released on PS5, the Xbox Series, and PC on November 6, 2023.

12) Inspired by 1960s science fiction The original novel was from 1964 and the aesthetics and level of tech are inspired by sci-fi futures of the 50s and 60s.

13) Non-violent gameplay It's an environmental narrative game in space.

14) Polish sci-fi
15) Said prequel/adaptation is based on a book Stanisław Lem's The Invincible, of course.

16) Of absolutely no relation to the gruesome comic series with a (mostly) similar name Of course I was referring to Invincible there. This is not related to the violent super hero comic(/streaming show).

17) The game is inspired by one of Stanisław Lem's novels Guess.
