Oh I had to cut and still included SO MANY quotes from the two games. I'm excited to see what else shows up. I feel these games have tons of iconic quotes but that risks splitting votes. Very intrigued.
I know the series isn't a thing for most people on the board and totally understand, but it's really iconic to me and I have so many wonderful happy memories playing it with friends. And the little explosion was great, thank you.
Also this is a neat little video of the voice actor going through all the iconic ones (not in the game's intonation for most of them but still very fun).

This was my only Portal. I love Portal but it had the misfortune of being almost too memed. This is the one I remember making me laugh out loud when it happens. Of course, the effectiveness is also dependent on the context, being that GLaDos says this after you beat the puzzle while at the start she claims "This puzzle is impossible. Do not even attempt it."
I placed no such limit on myself.
In fact, you could almost say I had the opposite limit on my list. :3
I had considered this iconic line for my list but it didn't make the cut. Nice to see it show up.
Interesting to see your interpretation of this and all of the other lines so far. I'm sure doing this is an interesting but possibly intimidating endeavor for an actor. But it seems to be a challenge that you wanted since you didn't ask us to provide any stage direction. (So I guess that means that we're producers and not directors for this.)
But should we hold our applause until the end?

Garrus is my video game boyfriend, I love him so much. This is at the end of Mass Effect 3 and you're (vague ending spoilers) gearing up to the final push. Despite Mass Effect 2 having the well-known Suicide Mission in the endgame, this one feels different. They don't break the fourth wall, but this is a clear goodbye to the characters as well as acknowledging many of these characters may not survive the next bit of the game. But this conversation actually made me tear up.

Hey, if you are enjoying this, I'm also doing a mini-list to go alongside! Please tell me your favourite months!
I love the quotes when you discover a tech from all of the Sid Meier games, but I didn't want to include any from the Civ franchise because those are quotes from literature or famous real life people. So I went with a SMAC quote. I wanted a quote from Academician Prokhor Zakhaov, but each character sort of has a personality to their quotes. Yang spends a lot of his quotes on philosophy that make them quotable. I like the reference to "God does not play dice". Also, if you think about it for just one second, not playing dice, and playing with loaded dice is kind of saying the same thing. All of the characters in SMAC sort of feel like villains because they are extreme in their ideology and its one of my favorite things about that game. No matter who you pick, all the others are so easy to be hated and to make wars feel justified.
