No such thing as a bad dog, Johnny.
Terry Pratchett disagrees with you:
Dogs are not like cats, who amusingly tolerate humans only until someone comes up with a tin opener that can be operated with a paw. Men made dogs, they took wolves and gave them human things – unnecessary intelligence, names, a desire to belong, and a twitching inferiority complex. All dogs dream wolf dreams, and know they're dreaming of biting their Maker. Every dog knows, deep in his heart, that he is a Bad Dog.

Oh, cool, Don't Breathe 2. The first one was a crackerjack horror thriller.

What do you got for me?

Uuuuuuhhh....

Like, devoid of the context of the first movie, this is fine. Having seen the first movie, its fucking wild to see the villain of the first movie be cool blind John Wick considering how specifically monstrous he turns out to be. I mean, there could be a turn but its weird for the trailer to set it up like this.

I know it's silly, but I am extremely pumped that Pixar's next movie is explicitly set in Toronto. Especially for an animated movie - it's not like they got tax breaks or anything for filming it there.

Yes, or at least, it's intended to evoke it. Seems a bit narrow for it to actually be Spadina.

Other touches: Lester B Pearson middle school, (with Canadian flags), hockey poster in the classroom, CN tower and Skydome in the background, street sign in kph,

I have not been interested in a Neil Blomkamp movie since I had the misfortune of seeing Elysium. And I suspect a lot of District 9 doesn't hold up. But I must admit, even if this is a dud, its a dud I'm kind of interested in seeing based on the trailer.

Not a movie but I didn't figure this warranted it's own thread.

Chucky now has an eponymous killer doll series and I'm kinda here for it.

I liked the first three movies and, once I gave it a chance, I really enjoyed the reboot. But while I'm wondering if this new show can keep up the dark humor and creativity for a whole series, if they can manage that then I'm super-hyped.

Mancini is the showrunner and they brought back Dourif for the voice. I hear the actor that played Andy in the first film is back and Dourif's daughter is back in her role after Curse of and Cult of. Jennifer Tilly is in there somewhere too. They have what's required, they just need to execute on it.

I might need to have a Nic Cage day, just to catch up on all the crazy shit he's been making these past few years.

I love that the money quote for this trailer is "THE WILDEST MOVIE I'VE EVER MADE -NIC CAGE". They know the audience they're going for.

Yeah, I'm all about that movie.

We've got a Wes Anderson, a Del Toro and a Edgar Wright movie coming out before the end of the year. This is great.

If you had asked me to guess which of those last two trailers Tom Waits would be in, I would absolutely have guessed wrong.

I do have to say that I'm pretty tired of "oversexed teenage boy doesn't respect teenage girl's boundaries" as a supposedly romantic plot, though.
