I’m really sorry Octo, hope you can get your laptop fixed soon and recover everything!

I didn't even notice we didn't have the online bracket posted, bummer. I hope you're able to restore it, but if not I'm sure we can quickly rebuild with the same first few rounds to start so I would focus more on your things!
 
man. last time i had a laptop catastrophically fail, it was also while i was running a thunderdome

It was not quick, cheap, or easy, but I finally found out that: the data is unrecoverable. It'll take a while for the yet another replacement part to arrive.

If one of you party animals wants to start over in the mean time, you would be welcome to take over. Otherwise I'll resume or reboot the contest within, probably, a week.
