The nature of the candle is really artificial. Maybe animated? Something that uses animation and live action.

I remember talking to a friend once about how he just felt like watching Garbage Pail Kids again one day (might have been working on an article?) and he brought it to the front desk at the video store, and just got confronted like some sort of intervention.
