I seriously thought Nintendo was quietly giving up on it, but we now have a release date for Rhythm Heaven Groove: July 2.
 
Agreed. The Genesis app gets updated once a year at this point, I've actually been playing the (de-listed) Sega Genesis Collection a bunch recently as there's quite a few things on there that were never put on the NSO app.
 
Wish I could say I was surprised, but considering that the Switch 1 costs more today than it did at launch 9 years ago, I think the pricing trend is going to up up up for the forseeable future. Honestly, I think the only reason that the increase is relatively small (compared to Sony's recent PS5 price hike) is that they anticipated some of this and the Switch 2's initial price already had some padding built in. Still sucks, either way!

I seriously hope that Sony and Microsoft take the hint and wait a few more years before thinking about new consoles. Just keep making games for the PS5 and Series X, they're plenty good!
 
At least there's a few months before the price raises so people have an opportunity to get it beforehand. Still really sucks that the deal for a console gets worse over time, not better nowadays. It used to be that the smart thing was to wait!
