If they add mouse support to that Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic that came out fairly recently I would buy it in an instant, even at full price. Those games need a mouse so bad.

King Arthur's World incoming.
*Hell* yeah. That game slaps.

(And is also the reason that, to this day, Pachelbel's Canon is a King's Arthur's World song to me instead of "the wedding song". I was floored when I first found out that they play King Arthur's World music at weddings.)

Insta Edit: Hmmm. Weird that is just posted the link as plan clickety click click.

Anyway, Indie World on Thursday.

Same. I got to play it a bit at Blockbuster when I worked there and remember really liking it, but never got to follow up on it like I wanted to.

I went to Gamestop to buy a PSN card, and absently asked the cashier when they expected more Switch 2’s to arrive. Long story short, they had one in-store and I bought it with the money I had saved up.
I’m very glad I got one with without much fuss!

I know Donkey Kong: Bananza is the system seller, but is Mario Kart: World still any good? Lots of people seemed to stop playing after a little while, and then especially once Bananza released.

Mario Kart World is good but it's also...Mario Kart. Outside of the kartheads, I'm not sure what kind of longevity the game has once you'd put in a few hours. Having said that, it's also the single Mario Kart game I've spent the most time with so I think it has something going for it. I won't be returning until they add new tracks or modes, though.

Also have to keep in mind that MKW was the flagship title for a minute. We got DK Bananza now and that one is fantastic.

MKW has an entire stealth solo mode in the form of free roam, which is full of collectables and little missions. It's not likely to change the way you fundamentally feel about Mario Kart, but it is underhyped, I feel.

I like MKW, but even with Free Roam it feels a bit slight after years of 8 and 8 Deluxe. I am hoping for a lot to be added in the future, at no additional charge if I may be so optimistic.

I had to look up a guide online to figure out how to download Mario Kart World.😔

Will my old Switch 1 controller dock work with these new Joy Cons? I almost never use these systems in handheld mode, so that was how I charged them.

Probably not. The new Joy Cons snap into place magnetically rather than sliding on rails like the originals, so the physical connection is different.

I think the Joy-Cons themselves work wirelessly with the Switch 2, but that's basically it.

And if it's like the Pro Controller, you can't use them to turn it on, either.

Fact: for anyone that does not want to click through to the article, the direct on one game will be 45 minutes long.

Conjecture: 43 of those minutes will be Sakurai extolling the virtues of the great King Dedede, who is amazing and deserving of said praise.
