Well I tried the demo on a whim. Didn't get very far, a bunch of drones obliterated my party lol. The demo is clearly from a very early stage of the game, but the game seems pretty solid mechanically. The combat felt like a more polished version of Legend of Dragoon's system, to put it succinctly.

Fair warning, I'm hearing a lot of the opposite. That its dev likes to take credit for other people's art for Twitter clout, that the game will open hundreds of browser tabs if you click the wrong menu item, etc... kinda wild to have multiple folks in my orbit go "nah, don't bother" about a $0 download, jeez.
