I desperately hope the She Hulk show is largely an overwrought court procedural with little to no superheroing going on beyond the superheroing that leads to an overwrought court proceduralGIVE ME MY LARGE LADY LAWYER.

The movie itself was also pretty bad, apparently.

I just assumed from a million miles away that a movie about Chinese culture, made by Disney, produced, directed, and written almost exclusively by white people, would be amazing and culturally sensitive and authentic. I'm shocked, SHOCKED that the movie would end up being awful in that regard. How could Hollywood do such a thing?? It's not like they have a history of... oh...Really, really bad.
I know I quoted you, but it was not with the intent of directing my dissatisfaction in your direction for anything you did or said (or anyone else in these forums for that matter). Just using it as launching point to discuss my own lack of surprise that this movie is awful considering everything I said and how disappointing it is that 100+ years later, Hollywood is still doing *this* with Asian culture. And it'll keep doing this because as much as some of the industry has made strides towards ameliorating these kinds of issues, the majority of Americans/Hollywood can't even comprehend why something like this was bad in the first place because Asians/Asian-Americans are invisible in this country and nobody cares about racism and exploitation of us and our cultures.Yes, and I made that post so I could share that video, which is several times more entertaining than the film
Did NOT see Andy Samberg and John Mulaney being cast as Dale and Chip (respectively).
I watched that, her commentary of the animated movie and then found her Twitter. She is hilarious.Really, really bad.

This damn uterus has caused nothing but grief for me and I never intend on using it. It is the equivalent of bloatware that comes with a phone and yet uninstalling it is unreasonably dangerous and expensive
"I lost my body ..." and somehow that doesn't constitute "dying
Ghost Dad?Isn’t that the plot of--
Having watched it tonight, Soul is not what you describe, but it could be easily mistaken for that without the full context of the movie. My wife was in (good) tears by the end, and my six year-old daughter stayed engaged the whole movie. I thought it was pretty charming and went to surprising places despite the fact that it has some big-idea metaphysics embedded within an overall human story.Has anyone seen Soul yet? I haven't caught Onward, either, but I'm amused at how the marketing for the former is basically, "I lost my body and ended up where all other souls end up" and somehow that doesn't constitute "dying"
