OK - I just tried it (chocolate chocolate chip). It tastes good (it is still ice cream after all) but I still think it's redundant. This might just be a case where I'm Merry and you and Pos are Jasu.
Can't tell if this is a joke or not but I've had truffle ice cream before and it's pretty good

I mean, in the sense that it makes more sense to thematically do that. But while I'm not surprised counterintuitive ingredients can make for good food, mushroom does surprise me simply because I equate it with Earthy smells and flavour.
I picked up a Jimmy Fallon ice cream last night and I feel dirty. I mostly did it because I like cookie dough but I do not like Jimmy Fallon. I wish Canada carried Americone Dream and I'm even somewhat tired of modern day Colbert (he's fine but he's long since lost the sharp satiric teeth he had in the 2000s)

So I assume that everyone here likes more than one flavor of ice cream. But are there any flavors you like that you think most other people would consider weird or that make you seem old?
For me two flavors I like which that might apply to are butter pecan and tin roof sundae.
So am I off base here or what? And what are your favorite flavors that fit either of those categories?

Desperate for a creamy frozen dessert that's safe for diabetics, I bought a pint of Halo Top keto ice cream. Do not buy Halo Top keto ice cream. I'm not totally sure what's in this stuff, but it has a crumbly texture somewhat akin to ricotta cheese, and was resistant to melting even after being taken outside in the hot Arizona sun. I'm also reasonably certain that ice cream is not supposed to have a furry mouthfeel, yet eating this stuff made me feel like I was licking a pool table or making out with Kermit the Frog.
