The best comic book covers

Felicia

Power is fleeting, love is eternal
(She/Her)
We had a thread about this on the old forum, and this particular cover was great/weird enough for me to want to revive it:

Marvelman, you've been at this for 29 previous issues, you shouldn't be taken aback by a literal snowman with a surprisingly shiny dome who needs to eat ice cream to survive.

Yeah, I'm getting some real "the things I've got to put up with" vibes from Marvelman.

Also, I enjoy that the artist decided to draw the Snowman's big toe at a wacky angle.

Out of all the characters on that cover, my favorite is probably "Agent !". He Comes As No Surprise.

That is a good cover!

I tend to favor bold graphic covers over covers with a multitude of characters. So Allred, Burns, Mignola, Miller and Mazzucchelli are favorites of mine. Typing this out reminds me of how gorgeous the Batman Year One art is. I like almost all the covers over the years.

so iconic that it's been repeatedly referenced in Transformers media for years to come.

similarly, this X-Men cover made it all the way to being referenced in Marvel Vs Capcom 3 of all things.

note how Mega Man doesn't get a tag because he's a Robot like the Sentinels.
