Taito Egret II Mini - another mini arcade!

Hey, I got a shout-out :3 Great video!

I think it's interesting that there's no chronological overlap between the Technos and Data East games on here. Wonder if that was intentional, and if so, why.

I'm also surprised (but not disappointed) not to see a BurgerTime game on here, as that's one of Data East's best-known series. (It's fine by me, as I can just play it on the Wii collection, and I think the lineup they went with is pretty killer.)

Haha, yes you did my friend! Appreciate you watching.

Yeah, I was a little surprised that when Technos picks stopped the Data East ones picked up where they left off time-wise. Curious about that, too.

I'm glad they went for some real deep cuts for the Data East side, as I think those are the games most deserving to be revived. I probably would have passed on this expansion if it was like Burgertime, Bad Dudes Vs Dragon Ninja, Caveman Ninja, Magical Drop, and Windjammers or something...because those are the games Data East is known for. I think Technos NEEDED Renegade and Double Dragon, though, as Taito did publish the arcade versions of both (iirc) and Arc System Works hasn't really pushed those versions a lot with their own comps lately. Both do have Arcade Archives if memory serves, but they were very early on and probably forgotten in the wave of Konami, Namco, and Taito games we see nowadays.
