If you can call "Which looks cooler: a four armed robo-skeleton with laser swords or a guy who really needs to be concerned about possible renal failure" a fight then, wellsir, I know which side of history I stand on.

Au contraire, mon poulpe. Consider:

Who makes you laugh more?
Who is better at making silly faces?
Is General Grievous fully functional?
Who would you want to wake up next to and have them gently caress your scalp while reading you cat-poetry?

The main guy from Star Wars has gone on to prove himself to be a phenomenal voice actor and genuinely kind and caring person.

The main guy from Star Trek has gone on to become a terrible terrible monster.

As long as there is Legend of the Galactic Heroes, all these other space operas are only competing for second place.

I thought 40K Space Marines on 360 was a pretty good game but it might ring differently in 2021.

I thought their deal was ultra-militant religious zealotry?
They always seemed pretty closely related to me. And all the maga-nazis really seem to like 40k so...

One of these days I'll finally give this a try and see what the hubub is all about. But I highly doubt it'll top interstellar idols saving the galaxy with their singing. Or a full volley of quantum torpedoes, or even a good Wave Motion Canon blast.

Well, it's not trying to top such things. Characters in Legend of the Galactic Heroes win using strategy, logistics, and deception, not hot blood or the power of friendship.

It does have an episode where two Death Stars fight, though. That one was pretty sweet.

I thought Warhammers whole thing was, like Judge Dredd, supposed to be a satire, and, like Judge Dredd, a certain specified breed of Crappy People missed the point entirely

That's my understanding.

I love Trek with all of my nerdy little heart, but Star Wars is just better. More iconic designs, better films, and more importantly a Mon Cal cruiser would finish off the Enterprise before they'd had time to make a cup of Earl Grey. The Federation hasn't even worked out to put fuses in their control terminals yet.

And if you're going to judge it by its size, and will you should not, a Super Star Destroyer is bigger than the Warhammer thing, and the Supremacy is hugely bigger than both. Star Wars space fascists are bigger!
