And, I mean, if you look at old paintings of Venus her hair is mostly brownish, not really all that red. Unless he meant the planet Venus, which is yellow... ish. White, with the cloud cover. But then the writing guide offers Mercury-red, which... the planet is gray, the element is silvery, and I can't find any reference to the god's hair color at all.
