I freely admit that I don't know what is or isnt "good" music and I've never been able to follow how anyone does. I just like what I likes.

I also think my list is pretty weird, but it was fun to write it - i'm not a music nerd, so it was fun to remind myself of the rock bands i've enjoyed over the years. Like writing for the first time your list of favorite games. And i've already listened to a couple of records because of it!
I will also echo what False and Daikaiju said.
I was a bit surprised that Nich didn't ask for voters to include something like that along with their lists but I am OK with doing it unofficially (for however few or many of my picks make it into the 50).
That would be cool, though it would indeed probably be best to stick to links rather than embeds, so as not to make the list thread load slow. (Not to mention the fact that it seems like YouTube has intentionally broken embedding for almost all licensed music these days anyway.)
